Air Barrier Makes Practice Crash No Problem
Published: March 05, 2004

J.J. Roetlin (#940) crashed into an air barrier-protected wall during mid-afternoon AMA Superbike practice at Daytona International Speedway on Thursday, March 4, 2004. Roetlin complained of a sore chest from hitting the bike, but had a chest pad to cushion the blow.
Roetlin was able to ride the bike away, and was in the Superstock race an hour later.
