Copyright 2002, Roadracing World Publishing, Inc.A spate of eBay auctions and several new donations have brought the Roadracing World Air Fence Fund (for road race use) total to $174,539.Additional money came from Ken Hill ($3351 in the Bay auction of Eric Bostrom leathers), Andre Espaillet ($1325 in the eBay auction of a new set of custom-made Barnacle Bill leathers, on top of Andre's earlier donation of $250,Jason Routhier ($810 in the eBay auction of Jamie James' photo shoot leathers and boots) and anonymous ($412 in the eBay auction of a Helmet autographed by most of the 1999 Team Honda.)Donations came in from Marcus McBain, adding $500 added to his previous donation of $1500; Leo Sulpy at $250; Thomas Pfuner/I&E Innovative Homes Racing Team at $130; Robert Sunday at $100; Chuck Perry at $100; Emmett Dibble at $100; Michael Janes(WERA,CCS) at $100; Michael Reeves at $50; Douglas Thompson at $50; Ryan Cilley/In Memory of Jamie Bowman at $50; Masahiro & Katsuo Iizuka/In Memory of Jamie Bowman/Toby Jorgensen at $50; Karl Axelson at $39; Cory Mann at $25; Gary Koppelman at $25; Steve Price at $25; and Frank Gonzales at $20."As always, thank you for your hard work," wrote McBain.

Bidding on a set of custom Bates leathers worn by former AMA Superbike Champion Jamie James has reached $810, after only 24 hours in a seven-day, eBay auction to benefit the Roadracing World Air Fence* Fund.The high bid is held by jayroot but Texas racer Marcus McBain has also placed two bids for the suit James wore in advertisements for Yamaha Motor Corporation.The auction is scheduled to last until Friday, February 15 at approximately 4:00 p.m.
